Evelyn Joy Hoelscher
Spaces of Fontana is an Austin-based contemporary dance project creating art rooted in hope, connection, and the shared human experience. Founded in NYC in 2016 by choreographer Evelyn Joy Hoelscher and recently celebrating 10 years, the company creates heart-forward work where strength and vulnerability coexist, and movement becomes a way to connect.
They explore partner work, athletic choreography, floorwork and eye contact to reveal light in every story and discover how we are more alike than different. At Break-In, Spaces of Fontana will present Masculus, a duet exploring modern masculinity through the lens of a mother.
