Two days of creative exploration, collaboration, and original choreography!

BOOT Camp: Creation Lab is an intimate, two-day workshop designed for dancers ages 12+ to explore their artistic voices through improvisation, composition, and guided choreographic exercises.

New this year, our Inside the Process sessions invite guest choreographers to share their creative approaches, giving dancers a behind-the-scenes look at how professional artists develop original work.

With individualized mentorship, an informal showing, and professional video footage of each dancer's choreography, Creation Lab offers a space to experiment, collaborate, and grow as an artist.

Workshop Details:

  • Dates: Saturday, December 12 – Sunday, December 13, 2026

  • Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily

  • Location: Dance du Coeur | Sugar Land, TX

  • Ages: 12+

  • Registration Options: Full Weekend or Single Day

Tuition:

  • Full Weekend: $200 Early Bird | $225 Regular

  • Single Day: $105 Early Bird | $115 Regular

We encourage dancers to attend both days to experience the full creative process, from initial exploration to developing and sharing their work. However, we understand that schedules can be busy, so single-day registration is also available for those who can only join us for one day!

BOOT CAMP: CREATION LAB

Two days. Five hours a day. A space to explore, experiment, and create original work.

BOOT Camp's Creation Lab is our winter workshop designed for dancers ready to explore the art of choreography. Through improvisation, composition, and collaborative creation, dancers are encouraged to discover their individual artistic voices while developing the tools to bring their ideas to life.

New this year, Inside the Process invites guest choreographers to share their unique approaches to creating work, giving dancers a closer look at the creative practices of working artists.

What to Expect:

Dancer will explore movement generation, choreographic structure, and creative collaboration through guided exercises and individualized mentorship. With an intentionally small group, each dancer has the space to experiment, take creative risks, and develop original choreography.

Through our new Inside the Process sessions, dancers will learn directly from guest choreographers, gaining insight into how professional artists approach improvisation, composition, and the development of new work.

The weekend culminates in an informal showing where family and friends are invited to experience the dancers' original creations. Dancers will also receive professional video footage of their work, providing a valuable resource for auditions, portfolios, and personal development.
