WHAT IS BOOT CAMP?

BOOT Camp is a versatile program designed to help both pre-professional and professional dancers dive deeper into their craft. Whether through pay-what-you-can events, immersive workshops, or summer intensives, BOOT Camp offers a range of opportunities for dancers to grow, connect, and refine their artistry.

BOOT CAMP: BREAK-IN DANCE FEST

Three days. Six hours a day. Direct access to the choreographers featured on the Break-In Dance Fest stage.

BOOT Camp's Weekend Intensive is our most immersive summer offering — a chance for pre-professional dancers to step into the studio with the artists shaping Texas dance, working alongside them in technique, repertory, and creative practice in the days leading up to festival weekend.

What to Expect:

Dancers train daily with festival choreographers across a range of contemporary practices, building real relationships with working artists and developing the kind of versatility that defines a thoughtful, prepared performer. Across the three days, dancers leave with new tools, new connections, and a closer view of what it looks like to make a life in dance.

Then, on August 6–7, many of those same artists take the stage at The MATCH — and our campers are there to watch the work they've been training inside come to life.

Dates: Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2, 2026

Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM daily

Location: Dance du Coeur, Sugar Land, TX

Ages: 8–12 and 13+

Tuition:

Full Weekend: Early Bird — $275 (May 1 – June 15) Regular — $325 (June 16 onward)

Day Pass: Early Bird - $100/Day (May 1 - June 15) Regular — $110/Day (June 16 onward)

Drop-In Classes: $30/Class - Available for purchase once choreographers are announced.
