DREW PHIPPS
Drew Phipps is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a B.F.A. in Dance alongside a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health. During her time at UT Austin, she performed works by acclaimed choreographers including Claudia Lavista, Raúl Taméz, Valeria Y. González, EG Giofriddo, and others.
Beyond her work at the university, Drew participated in a range of performance opportunities, including Break-In Dance Fest, Barnstorm Dance Fest in Houston, The Cohen New Works Festival in Austin, and {254}DANCEFEST in Waco with BOOT Dance Project. Dedicated to advancing her craft, she furthered her training by attending the Alvin Ailey Professional Division Summer Intensive in 2024.
Choreographically, Drew has created several works throughout her undergraduate career. Most recently, she choreographed a solo titled Eos for the University of Texas Presidential Inauguration. She was also selected to present her pieceI n Your Orbit at the 2025 American College Dance Association South Central Conference, representing her university, as well as at Break-In Dance Fest. That same year, she created Seeking Solace, collaborating with a composer to develop an original score.
