Alec Marianek

Alec Marianek is a dance artist and choreographer from Jacksonville, Florida. He began his training at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and earned his BFA in Dance Performance, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts, along with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship.

His choreographic work has been presented at Dallas Indie Dance Fest and NewDANCEFest (Eisenhower Dance Detroit), with commissions from Houston Contemporary 2 and Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy. As a performer and rehearsal assistant, he has collaborated with Parisa Khobdeh on a range of projects.
